Mowing Guide

Starting

  • Push the clutch in (left side pedal) and hold it in to start
  • Turn key all the way to the right to crank it, may need a turn or two

Reverse

  • Reverse is small pedal on right, you cannot and do not reverse when the blades are going
  • If you need to reverse when mowing, stop the blades (push yellow knob back in), reverse, then resume blades

Mowing

  • Just keep the throttle lever all the way up, should already be there, need it there to mow
  • Also ignore the left side lever for mower deck height, leave it all the way up at 4”
  • To start blades, pull the yellow knob up
  • I recommend just doing a counter-clockwise spiral, its about as efficient as it gets, and that way you’re never mowing over the already cut excess
  • I slow down a bit on super dense areas to let the mower spit out the grass fast enough, probably no such patches left since I mowed last week

Storing

  • Push yellow knob in to stop blades
  • I typically stop the mower outside the shed, turn the key to off, get off and put planks of wood on the lip of the shed
    • Mower needs this to get in without catching the mower deck
